Today is february 2nd. it's the anniversary of my cat dying, which sucks. this is an important day of the year, regardless of groundhogs day. it is the turning point of winter, the absolute middle between the equinoxes. it's a day with a lot of historical traditions, where people would put a loaf of bread out on their windowsill and light candles. this is supposed to help with fertility and success in the fields, its all about grain and plenty. february 2nd is always the worse day of the year for me. i get all insecure and tired and wish it was spring already. it will come soon
